Open the “My Computer” or Windows Explorer(Windows+E).
Then Click the “Organize” tab on the top-left corner. and the Click “Folder and Search Options”.
Now the Folder Option window will open. Then Click “View” tab.
Make sure the option “Always show icons, Never thumbnails” was “Ticked” as below.
Click OK. That’s all You’ve DONE. !!
Conclusion:
Mostly Windows Explorer will Stopped working when we Handling the Images or other Media Folders. Because Some of the Image files might be Corrupted. So this method Fix the “Windows Explorer Has Stopped Working” for Sure.

Method 2-Windows Explorer Has Stopped Working Perfect Solution FIX :
- Click Start, and type “cmd” in Search box.
- Once you saw cmd.exe, right-click cmd.exe, and then click “Run as administrator”.
- At the command prompt, type Sfc /scannow and then press ENTER.
This method is know as “Run System File Checker” to scan and check your files. Thats it.

I’ve had this annoying problem for a couple of days, whenever i try to copy and paste, any kind of file, explorer shuts down
I’ve tried a number of solutions without success
Restoring to an earlier date
Checking the always show icons/not thumbnails
Cmd – sfc/scannow
Safe mode
Regedit, deleting folders like windows 32, then CC leaner
It has not helped and I would really like to copy and paste…
Can you help me?

Quite right, so explorer don’t work and someone say’s errm “open windows explorer”???? f**k me furiously!!!
It worked for me. The error didn’t happen in Safe Mode, so open Windows in safe mode and make the changes. Good luck!
